Sunday 2nd March was a record day for the Maynard’s Groovy Bible Tunes website (www.maynardsgroovytunes.co.uk), with 270 hits (as measured by sitemeter - my other stats programs give different results: BBClone says 499, Google Analytics says “I’ll tell you tomorrow", and TraceWatch says 365).
People are obviously looking for childrens bible songs for Easter. It’s probably the peak period for that, leave it much later and you’ll have no time to practice!
Favourite songs at the moment are:
1 Most Important
2 1234 Grace!
3 Are you ready
4 So this is how
5 Will you sing
6 I want to know
7 Bothered
8 It was dark…
9 If I was Peter
10 What’s in the Bible
How do people find the site?
Mostly through searches for Children’s Church Songs. Annoyingly Google keeps me off the front page for Children’s Bible Songs - but Yahoo delivers quite a few for that.
Google is the top search source, with 27% (so I can’t complain!), followed by Yahoo with 13%.
Sometimes people search for a specific lyric - that’s cool, word must be getting round!
Some nice people drop me a line saying how they’re using the songs - I love that!
