Dad & Ed had their operations on Monday in Sheffield - Dad to donate his Kidney, and Ed to have the transplant.

Both Ops were long - 7 hours or so I think. Ed's new kidney seems to be working.

I visited them both yesterday, and they were looking amazingly good: both were out of bed and chatting away for the hour of visiting time we were allowed. Hope they got some good sleep afterwards (blood pressure monitors permitting!).
